Our two favorite people are getting together virtually to support a good cause. Lana Condor and Noah Centineo of Netflix’s To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before will be doing a live table read from the highly anticipated To All The Boys 3, called Always and Forever, Lara Jean. And to make it even better, they’re doing so to raise money for Black Lives Matter organizations fighting to end racial inequality in the United States.
Yesterday, June 23rd, Condor (who plays Lara Jean Covey in the films) and Centineo (Peter Kavinsky) went live on Instagram to reveal more details about the table read event. In their Instagram Live, Condor said that she and Centineo have yet to decide which scene from To All The Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean they’ll be reading, but they already know it’s a scene that they haven’t yet watched on screen themselves. And we do know that Centineo decided he would be shirtless, waking up in bed to do this announcement with Condor.
A few special guests, including Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors, Paine the Poet, and activist Nupol Kiazolu, will join Condor and Centineo during the table read event.
Condor teased the news first in an Instagram post on June 15th.
“LET’S JOIN THE FIGHT,” she wrote in the caption. “I’m so excited to be partnering with @favorednations in the fight against racial injustice and inequality in our country. To raise money for organizations leading these efforts, Noah and I will be doing a live table read event, along with important messages from activists and artists from the Black community. Together, let’s learn more about systemic racism and how we can create change.”
If you want to attend the live table read, go to the Favored Nations website to submit a donation to one of the orgs listed on the site. GAS apparel (“Give A Shit”) is also available for purchase, and all proceeds will go toward the listed organizations. So far, Condor and Centineo have raised more than $26,000.
Log onto YouTube, get a sneak peek of To All The Boys 3, and donate to a great cause. Currently in post-production, the third movie is set to be released on Netflix this fall.
