Black and white human hands in a modern handshake to show each other friendship and respect – Arm wrestling against racism. isolated on white background
I rarely express my public opinion on delicate matters such as black life matters, racism, it’s white. it’s black. The subject is as delicate and fragile as dust in the wind. And just as dangerous. It can get into your eyes and blind the crap out of you. So I am not taking sides. Yes, black life matters. Also, all life matters. What the hell happened to be humane? Not humans, as we are all humans regarding our behavior, nature made sure of that. Humane, a different story.
About the video
Oh, when Karens take a walk with their dogs off leash in the famous Bramble in NY’s Central Park, where it is clearly posted on signs that dogs MUST be leashed at all times, and someone like my brother (an avid birder) politely asks her to put her dog on the leash. pic.twitter.com/3YnzuATsDm

The video doesn’t need much description. It’s enough to watch it and understand what it is all about. The woman’s reaction is clearly exaggerated and the black man has to get all of it on video so people will believe he is saying the truth. There isn`t much else going on. What shocked me is what was written in a Cosmo article. “She is not in danger. He is not threatening her life. And yet she knows how to do the one thing that will threaten his life: call the police on a Black man in America.“. Seriously? Ok, what the fuck is that all about? That is so generalizing, I don’t even know how to put it. She did the one thing we all normally do when we feel that we are in danger. Call the cops! If we were in 3rd grade, we would call our parents or our teacher. But since we are adults, that is what we do normally. Not anywhere in the article did Liz Plank, the author, asked WHY did the woman felt she was in danger.
Racism is not only in the police
The man clearly did nothing wrong. He simply asked her to leash her dogs, as all the signs in the park are saying. Yet she felt threatened. By what? Racism is everywhere, not just in the police. It is so unjust to say that if you want to threaten a Black man in America all you have to do is call the cops on him. I call that bullshit. Do you know what is threatening? Generalization. All cops are racist, all black people are dangerous, all white people hate black people and vice versa. This is where the danger comes from. Some will believe these words and as a result, call the cops when a black person asks her to leash her dog. She heard that all blacks are dangerous.
Who’s to blame?
If we have a white person and a black person as suspects for committing a crime, the black person is the main suspect. Why? Because some idiots once said all blacks are criminals.
If copes show up, all black people will feel threatened. Why? Because some idiot cop once killed an afro-american just because of its skin color and one journalist once said that if you want to threaten the life of a black person in America, all you have to do is call the cops on him.
Words carry meaning. Maybe we should be a bit more careful about what meaning we give to them.
